General Assembly of the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty

At the invitation of the National Coalition for the abolition of the death penalty in Morocco (Coalition nationale pour l’abolition de la peine de mort au Maroc), the 2011 General Assembly of the World Coalition will take place in Rabat, Morocco on 25-26 June 2011.

The General Assembly of the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty is one of the biggest yearly gathering of abolitionists in the world. This meeting will be an excellent opportunity to address some important and relevant issues related to the death penalty and to share experiences with officials, intergovernmental organizations, bar associations, scholars, NGOs and activists, who are committed to the abolition of the death penalty all over the world.

If you want to attend, please confirm your attendance at the WCADP’s General Assembly as soon as possible and before June 10th 2011.
